Benergy was born during lockdown, when founder Ben discovered a deeper connection between food, mood, and performance. Both founders had faced personal battles with mental health, and nourishing, wholesome meals became their way to feel better, mentally, physically, and emotionally. That simple idea, good food can power your day and your mindset, sparked a mission to create feel-good fuel for people on the go. With a unique product offering in Northern Ireland, Benergy blends real ingredients, bold flavours, and a playful spirit into a powerful, nourishing experience. They came to Rivyl for a full rebrand, ready to energise their brand and serve up a bold new identity.

Good mood food
Food is pure joy and there is simply nothing more enjoyable than someone’s face lighting up when they enjoy our delicious food. Especially when they realise that energetic food can taste as good as it makes them feel.






Bold playful Colours
Benergy needed to break through the bland world of "healthy food" and show that good-for-you can also mean exciting, delicious, and indulgent. We introduced a bold, vibrant colour palette that captures the richness of real ingredients and the excitement of choosing Benergy. Think “dessert for breakfast”. It’s upbeat, feel-good, and unashamedly joyful. These colours balance playfulness with premium appeal, making the product stand out on shelves and look right at home in an office fridge. The Benergy packaging now looks and feels energising, and worth waking up for.

To support the brand’s whole food focus and playful tone, we developed a suite of hand-drawn illustrations. These not only emphasise the natural, homemade quality of the product, but also bring a sense of personality and fun to the brand. Each illustration works as a visual cue, hinting at the flavour inside while reinforcing Benergy’s recognisable, approachable brand style. They’ve become a central motif, bringing cohesion across the product line and acting as a visual shorthand for the brand.









Modular logo system
Benergy’s ambitions are big, and their brand needed a logo system that could grow with them. We created a modular logo suite designed to adapt as new product ranges launch. Each icon in the system connects to the way the product is consumed, like a straw for smoothies or a hand for protein balls, creating intuitive, functional branding that maintains cohesion across SKUs. It’s flexible, instantly recognisable, and cleverly integrated into the brand experience.

We delivered a complete rebrand for Benergy that’s as bold, daring, and flavour-packed as the product itself. From strategy and messaging to design, packaging, and illustration, every element of the brand works together to express one core idea: Good Mood Food!
