Bryan came to Rivyl to put a name (and face) to an essential local service and help his small country retailer compete with city stores. Influenced by media personality Jeff Goldblum, Rivyl created a modern, edgy and colourful personality for the brand. Both the visuals and voice are designed to instil relatable confidence, champion your unique look and draw the eye. Breaking from a clinical optometrist feel by playing into a more fashion-forward space, Rivyl ensured Bryan Stevens is a drawcard for his country town, ensuring he remains front-of-mind against the city competition.

The result is a vibrant, fresh brand with a strong sense of location, self-expression and personable confidence. A trusted brand without leaning into cliched blue and white tones. A key word to the brief was ‘panache’ and the visuals and voice for the brand embodies this flamboyant confidence of style and manner perfectly. It radiated positivity and individuality in every aspect. From the cheeky tagline “Embrace Specs Appeal”, to the lush gradients, Bryan Stevens helps wearers embrace bold choices.
