Surprise and delight is the mantra of this out-of-the-box merchandising brand. If it doesn’t wow, it isn’t Impero.

Creative and out of the box, Impero creates custom merchandise that is far from ordinary. Oksana, the founder of Impero, talks excitedly about how it makes people exclaim, “WOW! That’s different!” Rivyl could see Impero’s impact and close customer ties, yet something was missing visually for this brand. Their personality didn’t match their existing vanilla branding. It was missing that pop. This is why Impero sought out Rivyl for a shake up.

The brief? A new logo, a new strategic direction, a color palette that exudes energy and a visual aesthetic with vibrancy. Something with surprise and delight just like the Russian matryoshka dolls that linked to the founder’s personal heritage. She wanted Impero’s attitude to radiate throughout the brand; not just in the work Impero does. A tough task. Especially since Impero serves a lot of corporate clients. Now the sticking point…how do we balance vibrant and bright with corporate and professional, to not appear too childish or playful? With this question, our Rivyl elves went to work…

The result is a vibrant color palette that immediately pops with celebratory fun. Not too loud but with enough personality to stop someone on their tracks. The perfect balance of color to tweak this a little more masculine or feminine depending on the touchpoint and the merchandise. Expertly incorporated within the logo suite, the Russian matryoshka alludes to the out of the box thinking that Impero is known for. Adaptable and vivacious, our elves worked hard through the night to create the perfect blend of corporate yet fun. An outcome the client loved.
