Credily {initially named Lendreal} is a tech-based startup providing smart financial solutions to Australian families looking for home loan advice or to refinance their home loans. Kicking off in the now notorious year of 2020, Credily was born at the height of Covid when many entrepreneurs unleashed their ideas and took long held risks to turn them into reality. Credily were looking for advice on how to tackle a fiercely competitive market with established big players. The goal was really to set up a platform and brand that could be evolved over time and agile to the marketplace and Mason was open to exploring and embracing ideas.

Mason Owlad, CEO of Credily, approached us to help turn his vision into a reality. His ambition was to break down financial topics into easy-to-understand information that can be consumed by anyone. As Credily was a new entrant to a hyper-competitive market, it faced a range of challenges - from a lack of brand identity or direction to be able to source financial backing and attract investment, to a lack of a website and social media hampering credibility in comparison to larger established competitors. He needed some help planning his position and approach to the market and how this would roll out across assets like a website and socials, and something to leverage Brand Strategy to attract investment - plus to top it all off… a logo that would be the star of the show and stand out from the crowd.

When presented with the project the brand initially had a completely different image, target market, and name in mind. To differentiate Credily from competitor service offerings, we established a strong and unique brand identity that appealed directly to the target market, capturing their attention through the inclusion of a pastel colorway in mint, green, and orange. We created a hard-hitting tone of voice that appeals directly to the consumer’s pain points, calling them out and inspiring action, applying this tone of voice across visuals of websites and content to tangibly showcase the direction and increase credibility for investors. As a result, Credily is now a recognized brand that has an aligned mission, vision, and values. It has a credible brand identity that directly appeals to the target consumer and a unique tone of voice that is relatable, fun, and vibrant.
