El Taco is a family-run and owned business, born from a brother and sister's innate passion and love for Mexican food and culture. They approached Rivyl for assistance with marketing strategy, branding, and content to help add spice to their brand and differentiate it from competing vendor offers at the Grazeland location in Melbourne, Australia.
El Taco was struggling with high levels of competition in the food space of Melbourne and how to stand out in a crowded marketplace. They were unsure where to start to tackle content creation for socials and how this could tie back to in store experience, packaging and Brand Identity. They wanted something powerful and unique to cut through and supplement their income with merchandising opportunities.
As a result we brought in the big guns - hand drawn illustrations of skeletons! Colorful, vibrant and attention grabbing just like their flavourful food and electrifying culture. The skeleton art was rolled across to their food truck, packaging concepts, social media feed and even a coloring in book for entertaining kids in store to keep the theming and experience unswervingly vivacious. Plus the merch mock ups have to be some of the finger-licking good we’ve ever come across, they really get under your skin!
