Matt, CEO of Revive, was not destined to follow the same circuit as previous electricians, he had bigger, bolder, and brighter ideas. It was, you could say, a lightbulb moment. He wanted to completely redefine the experience of hiring an electrician, to make electrical work an occasion to be celebrated, not merely tolerated. Who wouldn’t want a touch of luxury with their electrical work!
Revive Electrical embodies excellence in everything they do, putting the client experience first and foremost. Their electrical specialists consult with customers to find out what they actually need, collab together to craft designs that light them with joy, accommodate their schedules, and communicate with transparency and simplicity. Not to mention bringing the cutting-edge expertise that helps homes and businesses shine in the best light.
But before they were, as Bill & Ted are want to say, excellent (though they were still pretty great), they needed to communicate their focus on excellence and touches of white glove prestige. So they turned to rivyl and found no resistance here. We could conduct what Revive was generating.
Revive Electrical needed a clear-cut strategy as powerful as a lightning strike, bold as the thunder that follows, and as brazen as all these electrical puns. They were going to set the tone for their industry-transforming approach.
Matt also wanted to refine his existing visual identity and logo, an evolution and re-alignment that brought balance, confidence, and an elite, premium feel to the forefront. He wanted to look different from all the other electrical companies out there, and we, not-so-shockingly, agreed. No lightning bolt logos here!
So the clear and obvious result was that rivyl got lit, fam. The more detailed one is as follows.
We crafted a brand identity based around the very concepts of excellence and prestige, conveying the pride every electrical specialist put into their work, the excitement and ease of the customer, and the seamlessness of the entire experience.
The brand had to impart expertise and confidence but also authenticity. Real people talking to real people, y’know? That led the rivyl team to devise a voice intended to break barriers and the ice; a relatable, helpful tone that fostered connections, transparency, and collaboration. For Revive, excellence was more than simply doing a superb job, it was bringing a client’s vision to life with a white glove touch. Regardless of whether it was scheduled maintenance for a b2b client or a luxury home renovation. Plus, we packed in as many electrical puns as was professionally feasible. Don’t worry, we checked with Matt first and he was on (power)board!
The visuals were also given a stunning refresh, taking Matt’s existing colors and balancing them with new custom elements that gave the entire brand an aura of high-end prestige.
We refined Revive’s existing logo to make it more dynamic, ownable, and charged (literally). The circular shape evoked the image of a stylized power button, with radiating lines to represent both the rays of the sun and a power indicator. But rivyl took it to the next level with a glow effect, making the very logo itself appear powered by Revive’s own revitalizing energy. Great for digital applications and would pop off against the dark background!
The circular shape of the logo was a recurring motif throughout the brand, with silhouettes and cutouts creating structure and highlighting focal points. The almighty circle could also be used as a unique image frame to show off day-and-night split imagery, a pure representation of the way Revive Electrical gets the current flowing and the lights turned on.
And that’s all he wrote for Revive Electrical, a brand turnaround faster than Palpatine going from ‘I’m too weak’ to ‘unlimited power’.*
